Description
The VarioBox of the E-Bike OSCAR S from Johansson has a lid-stability problem due to the long lever arm to the half-wooden-half-metal support on the sides.
Using a standard turnbuckle, these claws hold the lids and pull them towards the backrest. This way a passenger leaning to the side won't accidently disengage the backrest from the side lids.
You will additionally need:
a standard turnbuckle (7cm), 16cm in total maxed out, with M8 holes
2x M8 x 18 or 20mm screws
2x M8 flange nut
Print settings:
for mechanic sturdiness towards tension force I used PETG
0.4 or 0.6mm nozzle is fine (I used 0.4)
0.2mm layer height
for max stability I printed it totally solid, e.g. 5 top and bottom layers, 8 perimeters and 100% infill
