Description
The Streetwize 10 (or 8) Litre Portable Pressure Washer Sprayer is handy but one of the major weak spots is the connection between the hose and the gun/handle. It measures on 6mm in diameter. This is a replacement built from the ground up.
Use a strong material, like PETG, or better still, ABS or ASA. My first final draft was a PETG print and it's still going strong.
NOTICE: Before installing on the portable sprayer, run the nut on the coupler a few times, tighten 1 turn, and loosen again, then go further 2 turns, and repeat (use 2 vice grip pliers), You are running down the threads but this method ensures its still a tight fit. Just make sure the hose nozzle is centred on the nut as you tighten to make sure the threads don't get stripped. Takes about 2 mins. Again, do the same for the coupler onto the handle of the sprayer, the clearances are wider here to it's easier, but take your time and watch that the first run is centred.
Don't forget to remove and reuse the gasket ring from the original part, that seals between the handle and the underside of the coupler.
Mild Update: Added a tiny 0.8mm gasket ring centring circle above the thread between the handle/gun & adapter core.
