Description
I wanted a compact-as-possible case for a fully assembled Pinecil soldering iron, so I designd this one. The case snaps closed with 8mm round magnets.
This way, it can be stowed in my tool chest drawer and not take up so much space like most of the other case options out there.
The case halves print flat on the build plate without supports, and I used black Hatchbox PETG. The 8mm magnets I used are 2.6mm in depth, which I can't find on Amazon anymore, but you can push/pull the pockets in the STEP file to suite your particular needs. The magnets press-fit into the pockets.
Enjoy!
