Description
I originally designed these 3D printed retro/vintage signs to help my wife organize her storage bins and craft supplies around the house. They turned out so well and added such a great classic touch to our storage that I decided to share them with the community!
These labels feature an elegant, ornate border that gives a nostalgic, vintage vibe to any space—perfect for craft rooms, garages, pantries, or closet organization.
Features:
Fully Customizable Text: The models are designed so you can easily personalize them. Just drop the file into your slicer and use the text tool to add your own words to the blank label. Make signs for "Tools," "Baking Stuff," "Camping Gear," or whatever else you need to organize!
Easily Scalable: Need a large sign for a big plastic tote or a tiny label for a small parts drawer? You can easily scale the model up or down in your slicer to your exact desired size before adding your text.
Classic Aesthetic: The raised border and text give a fantastic 3D pop that looks great when printed in contrasting colours.
Printing Tips:
Easy Two-Colour Printing (No AMS Required!): These are incredibly simple to print in two colours. The colour change is built to happen at a specific layer height. While you can certainly use an AMS if you have one, it is absolutely not necessary. You can easily add a manual pause/filament swap in your slicer right where the border and text begin. The classic black background with white text looks great, but feel free to get creative with your filament choices!
For 0.4 nozzle, change colour at line 11 with 0.2 layer height
For 0.2 nozzle, change colour at line 21 with 0.1 layer height
Happy printing and organizing! If you print these, please share a picture of your makes—I'd love to see how you use them!
