5th Gen Toyota 4Runner Cubby Phone Holder

I designed this phone holder to fit in the small cubby located in front of the driver’s cupholder in a 5th Gen Toyota 4Runner. The goal was to create a simple organizer that keeps frequently used items easily accessible while driving.

This model currently includes:

• Phone holder

• Knife slot

• Pen holder

One feature I intentionally included is the open back of the phone mount, which allows users to keep MagSafe accessories attached such as a wallet or battery pack. This means you don't have to remove your accessories just to place your phone in the holder.

⚠ This design is not perfect and I am intentionally sharing it early so the community can help improve it. If you remix or improve the design, please upload your version and tag this model so others can benefit from the updates.

Current Known Issues

There are a few areas that could use improvement:

• The base can tilt forward depending on the weight of the phone.

• The phone mount can loosen on the pivot.

• If the screw is overtightened it can break the mount.

• Overall fitment works but could definitely be refined.

I am hoping others in the community may want to:

• Reinforce the pivot area

• Improve base stability

• Adjust phone viewing angle

• Improve screw strength or mounting method

• Optimize the cubby fit
