Description
I definitely would never try to pop a release clip on a ZIF connector that doesn't have a relief clip. This piece is for a purely hypothetical situation wherein, certainly through no fault of their own, a person were to remove the connector's ability to maintain connectivity to the ribbon cable and render inert the home button of the New 3DS XL they just spent a bunch of money on. For such a fantastical scenario, this would use one of the motherboard mounting points to apply pressure in the correct location. A person finding themselves in this fictional situation would want to print this in something resistant to warping over time of put a little piece of foam tape over it to help it keep pressure. Why not just use foam tape? It tends to move around when you close the console and lose contact with the right part of the connector. Not that I would know, that is.
