Description
Need to get your VRD Mullet off its tires? Here's the print for you!
Fully parametric Fusion design (F3D provided). Key parameters are axle height and width. Each front and back stand prints as three separate pieces. Two identical stands and one base. The bases and stands attach via a tensioned T-Slot joint.
Orientation set in the 3MF file. No supports needed. I printed mine in 3D-Fuel PCTG on a Prusa Core One L, 0.4mm nozzle, 0.2mm layer height, four vertical perimeters, 15% gyroid infill.
Because this set is for the Mullet, there is one F10 straight front axle stand and one F10 portal rear axle stand. (I will try to add a portal front stand soon). The stand heights are set to keep the wheel center lines roughly level.
I designed and printed this in PCTG!!! While I'm sure any material will work fine the tensioned T-Slot joints are set up for what worked in PCTG, which has substantially more flex than PLA or PETG. You may want to print one base and one stand to test the fit before printing the full set.
