Ascent OC - Adjustable DE Safety Razor

The Ascent OC is a safety razor with a high-flex blade design that accommodates the simple but proven method of adjusting the shaving efficiency by simply turning the handle, which reduces the blade's flex and, in turn, increases the blade exposure and angle.

For the best shaving results, hold the razor at a very shallow angle. The shallow angle gives better control of the shave stroke and will also provide better feedback.

Please Note: This is a three-piece safety razor for use with double-edge blades. Post-processing requires breaking away the included supports on the cap. Additional supports are not necessary. The STLs for this design are uploaded in high resolution in order to retain the required detail and tolerances and greatly benefit from a well-calibrated printer. Please post your makes. Enjoy

IMPORTANT:

BLADE LOADING: To load the blade, start by aligning the blade flat at the end of the post, and at 90 degrees from the cap's length, so that the threads are in line with the length of the blade. Once the blade drops past the threads, turn 90 degrees again to align with the length of the cap. Next, add the base and screw on the handle.

How to adjust for shaving efficiency: To increase the shaving efficiency, turn the handle in a counterclockwise direction from the fully closed position until the desired efficiency is set. The suggested maximum adjustment is about a half turn counterclockwise from the closed position.
