Modular Shelf and Storage System

A while ago I was told we needed a small shelf for our entryway closet. None of the prefeb-furniture would fit or wouldn't have the features we needed like a place for a child to hang coats. Then came the day that I got a small truck load reclaimed 3⁄4" melamine for the fantastic price of free. I know the limits of the material, (i.e. it's not great for making furniture) so I attempted to solve the issue with my Prusa printer and a healthy dose of over-engineering/woodworking.

Print Instructions:

I suggest using PETG or similarly strong material for this print. For best finish results on the brackets, print them face up with custom supports for the screw holes. Printing face down with supports will leave a harsh edge on the print face. Bridging was not an issue.

Build Instructions:

Plan ahead, since you can make the shelves any size, double check your numbers and parts. The fitting should be tight and may need a gentle tap with a rubber mallet. Do a dry fit before sinking screws into the piece. No glue necessary.
