Stone Your Phone: App Blocker NFC Tag

Magnetic NFC tag holder, ala "Brick" (https://getbrick.com/). I love the concept of Brick, but didn't want to spend $80 just to try it.

How to Print

The included .3mf file has the pauses built in (I used Bambu Studio), however if you need to add them manually:

• Pause @ 2.80mm (layer 14) to insert magnets. Magnets require you to press them in slightly.

• Pause @ 8.60mm (layer 43) to insert NFC tag. 

Hardware Needed:

• 6 QTY of 5mm x 2mm magnets 

• 1 QTY of 25mm writeable NFC tag

Android: Switchly (https://switchly.saltyy.at/)

iPhone: Foqos (https://www.foqos.app/)

Notes:

• A dab of glue on the magnets will help prevent them from rattling around

• The NFC tags I purchased have adhesive on the back - I recommend this as it stops the tag from moving. 

• the .ipt (Autodesk Inventor) file included is parameterized; use parameters "mag_dia", "NFC_dia" to alter the sizes of hardware to match what you already have.
