Description
The same year Star Wars was unleashed in movie theaters, TV brought us "Quark." It was the story of a space garbage scow, captained by a man who wanted more, a hermaphrodite engineer named Gene/Jean, the ship's doctor was a sentient plant named Doctor Ficus, and identical clones - called the Bettys - were the navigators.
It was terrible. Where I lived, only aired 4 episodes (there are 8 on YouTube.) But it made an impression on me and now, almost 50 years later, I'm doing what I can to keep the spirit alive.
This model is designed to use a 34mm lens (optional) and the spring from a standard clicky pen to make the trigger articulate. Other than that, just print and glue.
Parts are oriented as I printed them, supports are minimal, but I did use them on the receiver and the grip.
The tag is 2mm thick and is easy to multicolor print with a color swap after 1mm.
