Dyson Barrel Cleaning Tool

Overview

A tool for cleaning the inside of your Dyson barrel, as long hairs or clumps of dust can become persistent and hard to remove. 

The tool is simply used for picking out debris, and works well without the danger of piercing the filters from within. 

This is not a vacuuming tool, air will not flow through this part, the attachment point is for storage convenience only and should not be fitted onto the end of vacuum itself.

Printing instructions

I recommend printing from PET-G/ASA, not PLA as it is too brittle!  

I would also advise using lots of perimeters to ensure that the tool does not snap during use, I personally used six to ensure the tool section was solid.

You will also need a small amount of supports to ensure the clips on the base print properly.
