Description
This frog watering can was scanned and turned into a fully printable model. After capturing the geometry, the mesh was cleaned, simplified, and hollowed. Functional openings were added back in for filling and pouring.
The result is a large, support-free print with a fun aesthetic. Scaling works well depending on your printer size, but higher resolution meshes will improve surface quality.
Great as a planter, watering can, or decorative piece.
Recommended Materials:
PLA for decorative use
PETG for better water resistance and durability

These models were created using a combination of 3D scanning and traditional mesh editing workflows. 3D scanning is a powerful tool for capturing real-world objects and bringing them into your digital workspace.
If you print one of these, I’d love to see it. Tag me or share your make.
Happy printing.
