Description
This is a tiny enclosure that is made of two parts.
It holds a heltec wifi-lora-32-v3 module in place.
I removed the screen and the lipocharger to make it as flat as possible.
I use THIS Connector to attach the PCB to my phone.
Benefits:
- LoRa is now always in my pocket
- It runs off the battery of the phone
- Its smaller than a smolhai
- Meshcore/Meshtastic can connect directly via USB-Serial, no Bluetooth needed
Why?
Meshcore and meshtastic offer a way of offgrid communication that can not be censored or turned off.
Its super handy when there is no Internet available.
Both meshcore and meshtastic offer apps for android and bananaphones that make this kind of communication very easy to use for people outside of the HAM world.
