Description
I decided to get some backyard chickens. I saw they sold chicken swings for 20-30 dollars. I figured id have fun and make my own.
This is a pretty easy print and its very sturdy.
You'll need a 1/2" wooden dowel, key rings and some rope or chain.
There is 1 end piece that you need to print twice (1 for either side) and the middle spacer piece can be printed as many times as you want (used as a spacer to widen the swing to desired width).
With one spacer between the end pieces, it is around 20" or 51cm.
If you want you can also use some glue but I didnt need it, was very tight press fit and it feels plenty sturdy for even 8lb birds.
I printed the rope attachments out of PETG and the actual swing bottom out of banana yellow pla.
Enjoy!
