Description
A 3D printable badge for the TiLDA mk4 badge from EMF 2018
Please use supports from buildplate for the bottom half and no supports for the top half.
Print with large flat surfaces on build plate.
Test prints were done on an original Creality CR-10 with some heavy modifications.
The bottom half has built-in supports for the battery retention clips, please remove these once printed and gently heat and deform the top of the clips to provide better grip on the battery.
The cutout over the Dotstar LEDs on the front cover has been designed to allow for a diffuser to be glued in place. I made a diffuser by sticking some tracing paper to some transparent packing plastic and cutting to size.
For the navigation stick I used the nubbin from the laser cut plywood cover I bought at EMF.
Assembly should be straightforward. Photos of my test print have been provided to illustrate all key points.
Labels were printed on laser printer compatible sticky backed transparent sheets and cut out following built in guidelines before sticking onto the case where relevant.
It is best to print a full sheet at once if possible to minimise wastage.
