Description
This is a remix of the Tool box parametric by Yanev combined with grid and bins generated with the Autodesk Fusion Gridfinity plugin by Le0Michine (https://github.com/Le0Michine/FusionGridfinityGenerator/wiki/Bin-generator-options). Bins are 8U tall.
Emlid has made a STEP model of their RX available on their website here: https://docs.emlid.com/reachrx/specifications/specs/
Printing / Assembly
Everything except the RX Bin Insert was printed in Sunlu Black or Sky Blue PETG. All printed with 15% gyroid infill in 0.2mm layers using PrusaSlicer's Sunlu PETG filament profile on a textured bed.
RX Bin Insert was printed in Overture's Black TPU using PrusaSlicer's Generic FLEX profile, 10% gyroid infill, and 0.2mm layers. I wouldn't go higher than 10% infill to preserve flexibility.
I oriented all models for how I printed. I used close support for the embossing on the lid but that might not be necessary.
(6) - M3x40mm screws for handle, latches, and hinges. 0.5" EVA Foam for Lid; I might replace later with something less dense and more waterproof.
I added magnets on just the corners of the bins and along all sockets on short side of case to allow the bins to be placed in different orientations. This was sufficient to keep them from easily falling out of the case when tipped. The TPU insert was not glued in; friction and the label tab is enough to keep it seated. Label tabs added to make it easy to grip and remove bins.
