⚠ Printing Tips & Recommendation
This is my personal recommendation to ensure a successful print. While it may not be necessary on all printers, I highly suggest enabling these settings as a precaution. It can save you from fallen supports, broken parts, and other common printing issues.
Z-hop (Lift Z): To prevent the nozzle from hitting thin parts like the long hair or legs, enable Z-hop (0.2–0.3 mm) in your slicer. It’s a simple setting and a great precaution to save your model from collisions.
💡 What is Z-hop? (For beginners)
Z-hop causes the printer nozzle to lift slightly when moving across the model. This prevents the nozzle from hitting thin or fragile parts and keeps your print safe.
