Description
Hi, I had a Polaroid 636 Closeup camera that didn't work and when I've shaken it I could hear something moving inside and the shutter button felt like it was doing nothing when pressed. So I opened it up and I found out that the shutter button mechanism got broken (its a fragile part, you can see it in the second photo). So if you have an old Polaroid that doesn't work this might be the number one issue. I opened up another Polaroid (this time a 640 model) that worked and saw the part was the same, so I took all the measurement and designed it from scratch. Printed it and installed and now the camera works like a charm, hope it helps other too!
Print settings:
Print it upwards so the layer lines will be aligned correctly to improve the durability of that external 'triangle'. I used PETG since its more flexible and durable. Print with all supports and I used a 0.20mm layer height.
