MultiBin Top for Pinecil and TS100

Keep your soldering iron and spare tips organized in a compact 1x1 bin. This is a MultiBin Top designed for the MultiBuild system.

Compatibility

The handle dimensions should be identical between generations, so these variants cover both:

• Pinecil Variant: Fits V1 and V2.

• TS100 Variant: Fits TS100 and TS101.

• Storage: Holds one iron and 5 internal-heating tips.

Note: The models are tested with Pinecil V1 and TS100.

System Details

This is the Top component. You will also need to print a 1x1 MultiBin Shell to use it.

• Documentation: If you're new to the system, this guide explains how Tops can be used. Model can be used with both click-rims and inserts.

Print Settings

Standard MultiBuild/Multiboard settings:

• Material: PLA

• Walls: 3

• Infill: 15%

• Layer Height: 0.2mm

• Orientation: Pre-oriented (No supports)

Note: This holder is for storage only. Do not dock a hot iron or hot tips. Let your gear cool to room temperature first to avoid melting the bin.

Customization (Onshape)

The downloadable files provided are for 1.0 high bins. If you want a 0.5 or 0.75 height version, you can generate them directly in the CAD file: MultiBuild Soldering Iron Bin Top - Onshape

To use: Open the link, use the "configurations" area to select your iron and bin height, then right-click the part in part list to export.
