This is a U-shaped peg designed to anchor plant vines and bare stems directly into potting soil. The design features dual prongs with a corrugated, wavy profile, which increases friction and prevents the pin from easily pulling out of the substrate. The curved top section provides a gentle but secure hold on the stem, promoting continuous contact with the soil to encourage new root growth along the plant nodes.

The model is designed to be printed flat on the build plate to maximize layer strength across the U-bend. It is recommended to print this component in a moderately flexible yet durable filament, such as PETG, allowing the prongs to yield slightly during insertion without snapping. Standard rigid materials like PLA are also viable alternatives. If bed adhesion proves difficult due to the narrow footprint of the prongs, enabling a brim is advised to maintain stability throughout the print.
