Description
If you wanna print a 5 mm hole you have to print it bigger, but how much ?
You could check the "fit" you need for instance with a 5 mm Drill and take these numbers into your CAD Software to model your holes.
With 0.2 mm Layerheight (0.4 Nozzle) 0.28mm First Layer it needs just 3.3 Meter / 10.3 grams of Filament.
UPDATE: Because I discovered the Pause Button in Octoprint and while paused you can still move things around and also change the Filament, i rearranged the heights a little bit for Multicolor Print and for better readability. You can Pause the Print at Layer 6 (1.28mm) in Octoprint or by the M125 Command in the gcode.Turn the Printhead away, change Filament, extrude a little bit that you get a good consistant color, then hit resume. If you got a Multicolor Printer then it should be the M600/M601 command. There are 2 extra Files now:
_hole-size-checker-MULTICOLOR-oneFile
_hole-size-checker-MULTICOLOR-sperate I don't know if you really need the splitted version, but i dont know ;) |
( These Multicolor Files are normal Files, which you can Print whith any Printer even if you want print just one Color ! )
