NOTE: although this design works very well, there is a new revised version of it at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3687678, with more flexible options for the duct and overall orientation. I'd recommend using the new version if you haven't done this one already.

This is a variation on thed0ct0r's "E3D V6 improved fan adapter with modded Prusa MK3 Layer Cooling", https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2769783 .

The original provides a nice fan adapter that directs air preferentially to the lower part of the heatsink, which can make for a tighter melt zone and less likelihood of heat creep. It also uses a duct based on the Prusa MK3 design. A very nice thing about the design is that the part fan assembly simply clips on and off without tools (other than perhaps a small screwdriver to get the clipping-off started).

Mine uses the thed0ct0r's fan adapter part as-is, but has modified part 5015 fan holder and duct parts with an easily adjustable slider mechanism. This allows the duct to be adjusted over a range of heights, suitable for an E3D V6 or a Volcano hot end, or anywhere in between. The part fan is also directed into the duct at an angle (as later Prusa designs do), which should improve air flow into the duct.

Be warned, it is NOT intended to be an example of good or linear-minded design (and includes sketches and bodies related to previous designs in it!). Very long design sequence, features added or changed irregularly along the way.

The clip mechanism and the basic duct shape and internal vanes were traced from thed0ct0r's design.

Notes:

Supports are needed to print the 30mm clip and the "clip with sliding guide and screw slot". They aren't needed for the 5015 sloped later cooling adapter and should not be used for the "Prusa like nozzle fan duct" (as they'd be hard to get out of the part, unless dissolvable). All parts print pretty well and assembly is easy.
