Description
Gridfinity LITE Ultra Bins Compatible with GridFlock (ClickGroove)
This is a variation of a Gridfinity bin, specifically designed to work with GridFlock bases featuring the ClickGroove system by Yawkat.
These bins are a remix of the excellent Gridfinity Ultra Lite bins by Masibu, adapted to better integrate with gridFlock’s latching base system.
GridFlock provides a powerful online generator for creating Gridfinity bases with a built-in latching system that prevents bins from shifting or creeping over time. To fully take advantage of this system, the bin bases have been redesigned to properly interface with the ClickGroove feature.
This model includes a set of 5U basic bins with stacking rims and 0.8mm wall width. For full customization and advanced features, you can use the included Fusion 360 CAD file or contact me.
Compared to the original design by Masibu, the following modifications have been made:
Added ClickGroove support
Fully compatible with GridFlock’s locking base system.
Modified stacking rim
Fixed issues when changing layer height
Slight profile adjustment
Adds +3.8 mm to total bin height
The stacking rim is now grouped in Fusion, allowing you to easily suppress (disable) it.
Label holder
More durable without bridging
Adjustable label width
Controlled via the LabelWide parameter
Customizable flat bed option
Controlled with FlatBedHeight
Can be toggled on/off by suppressing the group
Useful as a starting point when you want to customise a bin insert
Included 3MF files: tuned for 0.4 mm line width with 0.28 layer height
Fusion model: designed to scale correctly with wider line widths (recommended)
Personally, I prefer using wider line widths ~0.56 mm as they can improve strength and reduce print time while maintaining good print quality.
