Description
All my prints were done in spiral vase mode with a 0.4 nozzle and 0.15-0.2 mm layers. with 4-5 bottom layers. I used 3DJake's "ecoPLA Neon Orange" and "mattePLA Light Green" of which the Orange came out with the better print quality (and the transparency also looks really nice printed in spiral vase).
Generally to have the print result in a hollow vase (because the objects are solid) make sure to configure 0% infill and also 0 top-surface layers in your slicer.
The thing that I like the most, is that you need just a couple of basic designs which - by cutting, copying, mirroring, rotating, scaling - slightly modified (even just in the slicer) can result in a lot of even more complex interesting new patterns with very little effort.
The background story:
I recently came across a small deco shop in a small town selling these 3d-printed vases for what I would call "very naughty" prices. This successfully triggered my "Hold-my-beer-reflex" and here we are a couple weeks later.
Now, this is more me playing with 3D design than thinking printables would actually need any more vase models or even about starting to sell prints to unaware senior citizens.
