Description
Here's a case to house your Waveshare ESP32 C5– for my particular use case, it's running the Biscuit Node Firmware from Biscuit Shop.
This is very much a work in progress and still needs some refinement. Please let me know how the model works for you and if you have any suggestions! Stay tuned for a version to house both the C5 and a 2000 mAh 103450 LiPo!
3 Perimeters with 15% gyroid infill, no supports.
Body: tested printed with a 0.4 mm @ 0.2 mm layer heights. Printed using a first-layer octagram spiral pattern, as shown — courtesy of a wonderfully uncalibrated printer.
Buttons: 0.4 mm nozzle @ 0.10 mm layer height. Consider adding an outside brim if your printer has adhesion issues. Translucent filament works best as it allows you to see the power and battery status LEDs.
The LED hole is sized to accommodate a 1.75 mm chunk of filament if desired. This works Very well with any clear or light colours. Depending on printer tolerances, you may need to gently ream out the hole with an undersized drill bit and a little persuasion with some pliers to shove it in.
