Description
โ The cover photo features version 1.ย ๐ธ
The rack's design is based on a contoured base tray with a sloped interior. A fixed drainage spout is mounted at the lowest point of the tray, extending beyond the base's edge. When placed next to the sink, water from the cutlery flows automatically into the sink bowl.
(bottom.stl) - if printing horizontally, remember to configure the supports correctly to ensure slopped surface will have support from interior.
(bottom_shorter_wider_gutter.stl) - same as bottom.stl but have shorter and wider gutter.
(bottom_support.3mf) - includes predefined support for tilted/angled printing to perform better stability (if you trust your's bed adhesion you can print default version this way).
(bottom_support_shorter_wider_gutter.3mf) - same asย bottom_support.3mf but have shorter and wider gutter.
(top_classic.stl) - the classic version without embossed icons.
(top.3mf) - features embossed icons indicating the type of cutlery for each compartment.
I have printed the tray both ways (horizontally and tilted). To minimize layer visibility, I recommend the tilted version.
Dimensions at the widest points: 200 x 105 x 162 mm
๐งฑ It is more massive, with thicker walls and slightly different dimensions and shapes.

โจ I realize that this model is not perfect, but I don't have the time to polish it further.
๐ It would be a shame not to share what I've created anyway!
๐ So please be forgiving and happy printing! ๐

(sponge_Strainer.stl) - You can place it into tray
(Strainer_parametric.FCStd) -ย I prepared the project in FreeCad (free software). After opening the file you can change the dimensions by editing them under "base_dimensions" (editing parameters has its limitations, in case of extreme parameters an error may occur. In some cases you'll need reopen the file).
