Description
An Over complex dremel drill bit sharpener and more from scratch
I've always been frustrated with sharpening my drill bits because I didn't have the right tools to do it properly.
So I made my own system using a Dremel and whatever I had on hand... why make things simple when you can make them complicated? But over time, I realized it could be used for even more with a new attachment system—feel free to come up with your own.
You don’t need much to do it:
3x M6*90 bolt(90mm or more)
2x M4*45
1x M3*20
1x Spring OD 8mm 20 length (I use a spring from a heatbed)
and nuts...
To minimize gap as much as possible, I designed the part with minimal clearance, so you may need to sand it down and apply a little grease to make it slide as smoothly as possible.
I also sanded down the threads at the base of the Y-screw so I can pull the carriage without having to unscrew it, to avoid losing the distance, as shown in the photo. (Already a new use for this thing ;p)
Have Fun !!
