Description
This Bahtinov mask is specifically designed to fit the off-axis aperture hole found on the Sky-Watcher 200P Dobson dust cover. It provides a compact alternative to full-aperture masks for achieving focus on bright celestial targets.
Because it is a much smaller diameter than the full mrirror, the focus can only be done on bright objects and is therefore a bit less precise than doing the focus with a mirror-sized Bahtinov filter. However, it is a convenient accessory to have.
To adapt it to any telescope, directly in your slicer, scale by a factor: <precise_outer_diameter_of_the_hole in_mm>/57.
Note: this file has the proportion to fit over 50-70mm cap. It might start look off or be difficult to print if you go much outside this range.
This print requires a good first layer because of the complex geometry. Print the first layer slower than usual if necessary.
