Description
Precision Pencil Marking Gauge
This 3D-printable marking gauge allows for precise parallel lines without scoring the wood, thanks to its integrated pencil or mechanical pencil holder. Perfect for woodworking and DIY projects.
Adjustment: Loosen the knob and set the slider to the desired measurement (1-8 cm scale).
Locking: Tighten the screw to secure the position.
Marking: Insert your pencil and slide the guide along the edge of your workpiece.
PETG is highly recommended over PLA for two key reasons:
Mechanical Sliding: PETG has lower friction, ensuring smooth, jitter-free adjustments.
Thread Durability: Being more resilient than PLA, PETG prevents the locking screw from stripping or cracking the internal threads under tension.
If using a 0.2 mm layer height, set the following parameters for the color change:
Layer 35: Color change (from black to orange)
Layer 38: Color change (from orange to black)
Layer 41: Color change (from black to orange)
