Description
This took a plain base GFCI outlet cover and added a blocking strip to the front.
I installed this GFCI outlet in a hallway because of the night light function that it has. Well there are young fingers that must like the nice click that the the buttons make when pressed. When the test button is pressed the LED light is also interrupted. This makes it a bit annoying now that winter is here and walking down the hallway is much more challenging after dark.
The outlets are still fully usable. There is a cutout on the left side for the ambient light sensor, and a cutout on the right side for the LED light to shine through.
On the one I made for myself I have the breaker number imprinted on the plastic. The uploaded model has a plain smooth front.
