Description
I posed this beautiful creature on my luminous hand,I realise this is not for everyone so I made her separate, so that you may chose what you want to do with her.
I am going to make a colour model tomorrow and I shall add that to the pix when it is finished..
with tree supports, 4 wall loops and 20% infill she is quite sturdy and her fingers did not come off with the supports.
I always use PLA filament because I have the settings stable on my ankermake m5c....
my cellphone camera is really a rotten critic. She looks much nicer to the naked eye (and I printed her too fast).
I decided that I like this model so much that I am going to hang her on the wall in the bathroom....
so I have added a wall mount in case anyone is interested....
I made her 180% bigger (180mm tall) so the mount is x 168mm y.138mm and z 100 mm ... this gives her room to comfortably kneel on the wall mount
Cor! Here is a tip....
I decided that the wall mount could be printed on fast mode. After it printed the first few layers,I thought, wait a moment. This is a perfect opportunity to use up a load of my remnant spools with only 1-4 metres filament on them....
Ha! As it was zooming along when there was 2cm sticking out of the extruder, i put the printer on pause, retract, new spool, extrude and then continue....
I used up 5 remnant spools in 45 minutes. Far better than nancying about with those filament splicer jobbies.... Yay! Room for 5 new spools on the rack.... and it came out well smart...
