Description
New: I improved the part to be a bit more rigid. The axil now has more support than earlier. This reduces side ways movement of the part and fits it more snugly than the original part.
Wheel axle to replace a broken one in dishwasher.
The new wheel sits more tightly than the original one. Wheel rotates quite freely but is not as loose as original one.One could probably make the part even better by extending the tight pipe part through out the whole part. Don't know why the original is not build that way. Would be more snug fit.
I used PLA. It should just about stand the 60 Celsius degrees without melting (glass temp~60). It would be better to use ABS though.
The support material is a bit tricky to remove but I managed after some minutes of pulling the strands from inside the axle.
I used 0.2 layer height, Prusa MK2s
