Description

I had a problem that the IKEA made seat was scarring my fine wall. It left ugly dents and scratched the paint away. It was difficult to have any kind of dampeners there like felt pads which I typically use.

The problem was the slanted poles which where slanted to both Y and X directions.

The contact point with the wall was also only the poles rim.

So I made 2 DIFFERENT (left and right) plastic raisers. You can stick a small glue laden rubber cushion to them. That keeps the chair away from the wall.

Afterwards an ugly black matte paint was applied.

Now I need to figure out how to 3D print a new paint to the wall...

Printer Brand:

Prusa

Printer:

Prusa Mk2

Supports:

No

Resolution:

0.15mm layer hight

Filament: Prusa PLA Gray How I Designed This ===================

In fusion I modelled first the wall and the pole.

I measured the angles of the pole and thickness.rnrnThen I drew a rectangle and extruded it. I used then the previously drawn wall and the pole as cutting tools.rnrnRest is history.
