MiniDisc Case

I made this durable case for holding MiniDiscs—my favorite physical media for music. This case has a printed hinge, as well as a print-in-place latch attached to the lid. The latch has mounting points for small circular magnets that you can glue in place to keep the latch closed.

There are 5x and 10x variations so you can print the size you need. I find the 5x version is great for stashing a day's worth of MDs in your backpack.

Once printed, use a small amount of CA glue to add the hinge to the bottom, and then add the top of the case. The hinge is intentionally designed to be a tight fit, so good printer calibration is a must.

To complete the case, add two 6x3mm round magnets to the latch and case. Here is a link to the magnets I used.
