Ozark Trail 7.5" Scales - Thickened!

Intro:

I tried printing @MatthewTimbs scales, but they needed to be a bit thicker for the pivot bolt to clamp properly. Therefore, I took his model and added some thickness!

Files:

• OT7.5SCALE_LEFT1.1 - Left Scale

• OT7.5SCALE_RIGHT1.1 - Right Scale

Printers and Filaments:

• Printed on Prusa CORE ONE with Polymaker Panchroma Dual Matte PLA.

• Any PLA or better should be good enough.

Print Instructions:

• print flatside down

• supports only needed for omega spring cavity

• 0.1mm layers to reduce layer lines

• 15% infill worked fine

• mirror files if you want reverse clip

Post Printing (OPTIONAL):

• Sand with ~120 and ~220 grit sandpaper

• Spray paint

Assembly:

Tools needed: T6 and T9 torx bits

Assembly is easiest when replacing one scale at a time. Try to always have one side of the pivot bolt through the knife as re-stacking the bearings can be annoying. Shift the blade, bearings, and scales around while pushing the pivot screw through.
