Ender 3 S1 Filament Runout Sensor Housing (PC4-M10)

The stock filament sensor gave me a lot of issues by giving too much resistance and I didnt like the vertical mounting in my enclosure and options available.

First I tried https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5183896 and then after that https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5246185. I ended up iterating into this solution based on ideas from the last one. This is a total new model but I decided to make it remix as https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5246185 gave me the idea.

You will need 2x PC4-M10 pneumatic connections and they screw in each end (They are tight on purpose, you can create a thread yourself with a tap set or just use a 9mm drill bit if needed). You can then use some 4mm outer and 2mm inner PTFE tubing to keep the filament straight in and out of the sensor. This results in it not giving much resistance and your extruder not being over worked. It is also very easy now to change filament, it just pushes straight through, no issues.

You can still mount it with something like https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5246185 (which doesnt fit my model) or whatever works for you.
