Epoxy mixer

Instead of pre-printed threads that can strip or limit hardware options, this model features a blank, unthreaded central mounting hole. This allows you to take whatever size threaded metal rod you have available and drive it directly into the dense plastic. The rod acts as its own tap, cutting custom threads into the print for an incredibly tight, slip-free friction fit that won't give out under the torque of a power drill.

Recommended Print Settings:

• Material: ABS or ASA. (Crucial for chemical resistance against epoxies and resins, as well as surviving the high friction and torque of the mixing environment).

• Infill: 100% solid. Do not skimp here; full infill is absolutely required so the metal rod has solid plastic to bite into when tapping the threads, and to maximize shear strength.
