Starburst ornament

A clever, elegant, and space-saving Christmas ornament. This design prints completely flat on the build plate in two separate halves. Once printed, simply slide the two pieces together using the interlocking central slots to create a beautiful, geometric 3D spherical snowflake.

Because it prints flat, you can easily print dozens of these in a single quick batch. After the holidays, just slide them apart and store them completely flat for next year!

Features:

• Ultra-Fast Printing: Thin profile means extremely short print times and minimal filament usage.

Recommended Print Settings:

• Material: PLA (Standard PLA works perfectly, but Silk PLA looks amazing for that shiny, festive metallic look).

• Infill: 100% (since the model is quite thin, solid infill ensures the spikes don't break during assembly).

• Layer Height: 0.16mm or 0.20mm for a smooth surface finish.

• Supports: None. Print flat. Ensure your bed is well-leveled for perfect first-layer adhesion on the thin spikes.
