Description
I had problems with the lighting on my cheap digital microscope and don't have the space to upgrade to a more professional version at the moment. I found good reviews for the Mechanic LS720+ polarized ring light for digital microscopes which helps with the glare when doing soldering type work and bought one but of course this didn't fit the smaller diameter of my microscope optic.
I modeled this adapter piece to fit inside the ring light and help clamp down on the fixed part of the optic on my microscope. I also added foam tape with 5mm width and 1mm thickness to help fixing it without adding to much stress on the original microscope optic.
You need to print this element 3 times.
