Description
Welcome to the second part of my DIY sunglasses project! This is a completely custom-designed front frame that allows you to build your own pair of glasses from scratch.
🔗 Required Parts: To complete these glasses, you will need the 3D-printed temples (arms) that I published in my previous project. You can find and download them here:
You can attach the temples using a piece of a metal paperclip (or standard small optical screws).
âš IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT LENSES: Please be aware that this is a completely custom frame shape. The original lenses from the glasses shown in my previous repair project (or any standard factory lenses) WILL NOT FIT into this frame. This model is perfect for:
Cosplay, costumes, and fashion accessories (worn without lenses).
DIY enthusiasts who want to cut their own custom lenses from polarized plastic sheets or polycarbonate.
Print Settings & Recommendations:
Material: PETG or ABS/ASA is recommended for better durability and flexibility, but PLA works fine for everyday light use.
