Description
Bosch GWS 7-115 grinder only has right and left handle positions. This adapter attaches to the grinder using two existing front screws and allows for a top handle position. See pictures.
There are three versions of the adapter.
17mm Nut – has a slot for a 17mm M10-1.5 (DIN 934) nut to secure the handle. This is the older and probably most common standard. If not sure, take an M10 nut and measure the distance between the flats.
16mm Nut – has a slot for a taller but narrower 16mm M10-1.5 (ISO 4032) nut to secure the handle. This is the newer standard.
No Nut – has no slot and assumes that you will tap an M10-1.5 thread yourself.
This adapter may also fit U.S. model GWS 8-45. If you have that grinder, please confirm fitment in the comments.
Printing
Select a strong material that resists flexing. Flexing is a concern, since the adapter's both attachment points are at the front. The part is already oriented the way I printed it. I did not support the front panel where it rises from the flat on the bed to a circular shape — it is gradual enough to print successfully without supports. Other areas (slots for the grinder protrusions, countersinks for the screws, and the round hole for the handle) need supports if you print in the same orientation.
