IKEA RÅSKOG Trolley Organiser Clip Mounts

Ok, so I have one of these handy IKEA Raskog trolleys that I keep my maker tools that are in the house in. The problem is it has 3 baskets so eventually everything just starts to pile on top and it becomes less of an organiser and more of a dumping thing.

So I made these clips. They are 2 parts with a clip and a mount that is designed to sit on the side of the trolley so you can put certain things that are a little too long or unorganised to pile in the basket on the side of it. The clip sits on the side and the mount slides down on it (you can glue it if you want).

So far I have made some for holding rolls of vinyl and felt, one with some fork hooks that use 2 clips to hold my small paper cutter and I did start on one for my glue gun and drill but I think I might just make a solid 1 piece 2 hook holder that attaches to 2 clips instead like I will do for my small clamps. You can, of course, make holders that use multiple clips to attach. as long as they all attach at the same height.

I did think about adding a small inlay so you can put magnets in the clips but for my use, it would just end up sticking to things inside the baskets all the time so less helpful. Maybe later with smaller magnets (I can always change the clips seeing how I made them so you can) change stuff around.

But those are what I need so in the files I'm also including the blank mount piece so you can design your own holders for what you need!

Print instructions

Depending on how you design your holders you might not need supports with the mounts being able to be put flat.

For some of the pieces, I have made you may need to add a small amount of enforced supports in the back to support the small triangle piece of the mount as it is an overhang if you print it vertically.

Lucky for you most of the back is hidden so you don't need to do that great a job of cleaning out the supports as long as the back can connect to the clip you are good (but a little rough does make for a tighter fit)
