Description
I wanted a case that used standard 18650 batteries for my Xiao NRF kits that also had a power switch.
You'll need some switches like these (2MM): https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005531658132.html
Battery terminals like these: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005011572150612.html
Battery connectors like these: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003390942788.html
Solder the female battery connector to the batt + & - pads on the bottom of the NRF52840 board, and the male battery connector leads to the battery terminals. Solder the leads to the switch and cut the two spare pins off (see pics).
10x M3 5mm screws. The inset holes are 6mm for the screw heads.
This case will fit antennas up to 13mm in diameter with no problems, and has a lanyard attachment at the top.
I've included the Fusion360 file so you can modify things if you want.
There are several side panel designs to choose from.
