Description
This project repurposes new Prusament spools into a modular storage system for organizing cables, filament, tubing, or wire. The system can be used on a tabletop or mounted to a wall, depending on your setup.
Each unit connects using an interlocking base design, allowing the system to expand as needed while keeping everything aligned and secure.
This design includes integrated mounting holes sized for standard #8 screws, allowing the system to be securely mounted to a wall.
This makes it easy to save space and organize cables vertically in a workshop or garage environment.
Material: PLA or PETG
Supports: trees on the spool holder, normal everywhere else
Infill: 15–25%
Layer height: 0.2 mm
Insert the spool into the cradle and connect multiple modules using the interlocking base features. The system can be expanded in either direction depending on your needs.
For wall mounting and top mount, install #8 screws into the wall and align the mounting holes with the screw heads.
Designed to be simple, fast to print, and easily scalable for real workshop use.
