Description
Just another set of mud guards for mountain bikes. The front ones should fit a Fox 36 fork and the rear has been somewhat designed to fit on a 2019 Pivot Trail 429 but could easily be modified to fit on other frames. Print in PETG with 0.2mm layer height and standard settings - should be four layers but you could easily modify in slicer to make thicker and stiffer if desired. I have other mud guards that I bought on Amazon that are made from Polypropylene and are about 1.1mm thick and stiffer but I believe that four 0.2mm layers seem to be sufficient so that they won't flex when hitting a bump and get pulled into the tire. The font guard needs to be oriented diagonally to fit on a typical 220mm x 220mm 3D printer build plate (I have Flash Forge Adventurer 5M) If you print with 4 layers, both guards together use under 50g of filament and at about $15/kg for PETG, cost under $1. Just use UV resistant black nylon zip ties to secure to your bike.
