Description
This allows you to mount an Eibos Series X: Easdry filament dryer to your Core One. The mount replaces the standard bayonet-style spool holder. However, you do not have to forgo the standard spool holder, because the screw-on attachment point is made by adding a thread to the original Core One spool holder. Therefore, the mount can be easily removed and replaced with a screw-on version of the original bayonet spool holder.
The mount has enough clearance for you to operate the heat control on the front, use either the front or the top filament port, access the power switch on the back, and also have enough room for the power cable on the back.
The Eibos Easdry, aside from the silly name, is quite a good filament dryer, but it is also extra good for this use because it is well sealed and can work as a passive drybox. It has a single large exhaust port on the back, which can be closed off with mods like this (link), and it also has a dedicated space for dessicant storage, either in the form of bags or in buckets like this (link).
I printed mine in black PETG, but because my friend made a prettier version in Prusament PETG orange, I used his photos here. Therefore, photo credit here goes to @Metalich.
The model here is marked as a remix because the attachment point is created by modifying the original Core One (not +) spool holder. Thanks to Prusa for releasing the files for our use. The base is attached with the same screws that hold the original spool holder, so you don't need any other hardware than a screwdriver to attach this mod.
