Description
This project turns a Prusament spool side into a functional armrest table for sofas.
A simple insert fills the center hole of the spool, creating a flat and usable surface.
A second part acts as an adjustable support profile, allowing the table to fit different sofa arm widths between approximately 120 mm and 140 mm.
To improve usability, a rotatable ring can be placed on top, creating a raised edge that helps prevent cups or small items from sliding off.
The design keeps the visual language of the original spool, including the hexagonal cutouts, while adding practical functionality.
A simple and effective upcycling project that combines storage, furniture, and reuse.
