Soldering Fumes Extractor (Lötrauchabsaugung)

Soldering Fumes Extractor with 120 mm fan and coal filter. The whole part consists of the main housing and the lid. The lid is available in two flavors: for a metal flip switch with thread diameter of 6 mm or a plastic rocker swith with 20 mm x 13 mm outer housing dimensions. 

Parts printed in recycled PLA, settings see below next to the models.

Please find the entire CAD model (assembly) in the files section, so you can adapt the model to your needs. Please note that I have also modeled the fan and the carbon filter.

Bill of materials 

You will need for the whole system besides the printed parts:

• 12 V DC fan (120 mm x 120 mm x 25 mm )
• rocker switch (20 mm x 13 mm) or metal flip switch (6 mm through hole diameter in housing)
• DC jack (8 mm through hole diameter in housing)
• DC power supply (I used an old one from another discarded device)
• 2x carbon filters (130 mm x 130 mm x 9 mm)
• 4x M3 thread heat inserts
• 4x M3 screws
