Description
The original design does not allow the blower fan to function at its optimal performance to dry the desiccant. Most of the air is either blocked by conflicting vertical slots of the fan case and the dry box case, causing most of the air to flow through the central tube back out of the box, bypassing the desiccant all together.
The original design does not take into account that air will always take the path of least resistance. The changes to the inlet vents and the added air holes along the central tube (and constricting the tube exit) forces the air to be dispersed into the desiccant covering the most area possible.
This is the desiccant box only all other parts remain the same, use those from the original design.
Follow the filament and printing recommendations provided with the original design.
UPDATE 5-5-2026: Added crossbars for the vertical slats on the curved face of the box. This adds strength to the box in this area and makes a successful print much easier. The .3MF file now has supports pre-setup for the bottom of the interior tube.
